A single-user license for Password Depot is personal, not bound to a device. This article summarizes what the license agreement allows when it comes to using the software on multiple computers.
What one license allows
By purchasing one license, you are entitled under the license agreement to use Password Depot for personal use and to install it on an unlimited number of devices – for example on your desktop PC and your notebook at the same time.
What is not permitted
Passing on the program or your personal license to third parties.
Simultaneous use of a single license by two or more persons – each person needs their own license.
Free editions
Only the Windows client requires a license. The editions for Android, iOS, macOS and Linux are currently free of charge: no license needs to be purchased for them, and you can install and use these editions on any number of devices as well.
Note: Separate license terms apply to use in companies with the Enterprise Server; licensing there is based on the number of users. The ordering procedure is described in the article on the order process (see below).
