Server Policies

The Server Policies can be accessed through the Manage menu.

The server policies allow you to configure global settings that affect the granting of rights to the clients. In addition, you can configure general password policies, determine which entry types should be available to clients by default, define settings for shared secrets, and manage server supervisors.

The following tabs are available:

  • Default Database Permissions – Define the default permissions that apply to new databases.
  • Private Database Permissions – Configure the default permissions for private user databases.
  • Group Database permissions – Configure the default permissions for group databases.
  • Security – Settings for the second password and offline databases.
  • Entries – Determine which entry types should be supported in the clients.
  • Password Policy – Define minimum requirements for passwords (length, character types, quality checks against dictionary attacks).
  • Shared Secrets – Configure protocols, approval workflows, and access control for shared secrets.
  • Server Supervisors – Manage the users who act as server supervisors.
