• The server can now limit access to offline databases to a specific number of hours or days. To prevent any tampering through incorrect time settings on client devices, a time server can be specified. Access to offline databases or local copies of server databases is only possible after an online time check. The client then verifies the database expiration time and any permissions that may have expired. Once the time limit has been reached, access to the database is no longer possible.
